Click here to buy the screen for LG Gram 16z90

Tools

For the replacement process we will need a plastic pick and tweezers

Shut down the laptop

To begin turn off the laptop

Remove LCD screen with bezel

We are going to remove the LCD screen with bezel. Insert a plastic pick between the screen
and the back cover. Move it along the perimeter. Once the screen is unglued open the screen
as a book at approximately 30 degrees to the back cover. Now we have access to the video
connector. Peel off the clear tape securing the video cable, Open the connector's bracket
disconnect the video cable. Place the screen on the desk

Separate the bezel

Next we have to separate the bezel from the screen which is glued to the front of the LCD. Insert a
plastic pick between the bezel and the screen and move it along the perimeter. Use hands to unsnap
tabs holding the bezel. Separate the bezel and discard the old screen

Connect the new screen

Place the new screen on the keyboard. Reconnect the video cable. Close the connector's bracket
and secure it with clear tape. CAUTION! It is very important not to force any connectors. Also make
sure not to twist or slant the connector when plugging it in

Test the new screen

Now we can test the screen. Lift the screen up and lean it against the back cover. Turn on the laptop. The screen
is working and we can finish reinstallation process

Install the new screen using adhesive strips

Use alcohol and a piece of cloth to clean the surfaces on the sides of the screen and the back cover.
Place the screen on the keyboard. Apply new pair of adhesive strips. You can buy a set of adhesive
strips on our site: https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/section/tools/ Lift the screen up and apply
some pressure to catch the glue

Replace the bezel

Use a tweezers to fold the loose tabs in the bottom of the screen. Remove the protective film. Reinstall
the bezel. Go around the perimeter snapping the tabs back in place.

Turn the laptop on and we are done!
